The “DeTails”
Who: anyone that needs a headshot with a pet. Perfect for pet professionals, or those whose target audience includes pet owners. Also great for dating apps!
When: Choose a time that works for you from the calendar below.
Where: OKKat Photography Studio, 3200 Winter Drive, in central Oklahoma City. The studio is easily accessible from I-44, I-235, and I-40.
How long: up to one hour for the session. PLUS, up to half an hour for some touch-up (minor color correction, cropping for composition, and blemish removal) as well as a quick and easy selection process. Final selections will be delivered electronically.
How much: $350 reserves your session date and time.
What’s included: electronic delivery of three low resolution headshots of your choice, perfect for use on your website or social media. Can’t narrow it down to three images? Additional images, high resolution images, and prints are available for purchase after your session.

- I am Kathy Thompson, a local and a pet lover, just like you. In fact, you may have seen my work in the hundreds of images I’ve provided for dozens of local animal rescue organizations.
- Furthermore, with over 500 dogs and 300 cats having been in front of my lens, I maintain a 99.99% success rate. Consequently, you will be hard-pressed to find a more experienced pet photographer in Oklahoma.
- I have been photographing professionally for over 20 years and have been working with animals most of my life.
- Established OKKat Photography in 2016.

Photographing you
- What should I wear for my headshot?
- Choose clothing that complements you AND your pet and reflects your professional style.
- Avoid busy patterns or commercial logos (other than your own).
- Choose fabrics that do NOT attract or collect pet hair/fur.
- How many outfit changes can I bring?
- One outfit total. Make it a good one!

- Will there be hair and makeup available?
- Not at this time. Contact me to discuss a custom session with hair and or makeup artistry.
Photographing your pet
- Can I bring more than one pet?
- This offer is currently available for one pet and one human per session.
- Can I bring props or toys for my pet?
- Keep props to a minimum to ensure you and your pet remain the stars of the image. However, a favorite toy can be a great tool to help your pet feel more comfortable.
- While I prefer “naked” pets, attractive collars that work with YOUR outfit are always a great idea!
- Only bring clothing for your pet if they are already accustomed to wearing that item.
- Should I bring treats?
- There is a variety of tried and tested treat options available at the studio, however, you are welcome to bring very high value treats your pet loves.
- What if my pet is nervous or doesn’t cooperate?
- I have experience working with pets of all temperaments. Their comfort is one of my primary goals.
About the session
- What if I want more than three of the images?
- Additional images may be purchased.
- What if I want high resolution images instead?
- High resolution images are available as add-ons.
- Prints are also available as add-ons.
- What if I need someone else present to help me choose?
- I will help you narrow your choices!
- If you require someone else to approve your choice, this offer may not be right for you.
- What is included in the session?
- A one-hour session, followed immediately by a half-hour for minor touch-ups and image selection.
- You will receive two low-resolution headshots of your choice delivered electronically.
- What kind of backdrops are available?
- Currently black, white, and grey only.
- Do you offer outdoor sessions?
- Only studio sessions are currently available.
- Contact me to discuss a custom session for outdoors or at a specific location.
- Why studio sessions?
- First, there are fewer distractions for you and your pet. Additionally, there are far fewer concerns about weather—which is a major plus in Oklahoma. Ultimately, this allows for more control over lighting and ensures your pet is in a safe, controlled space.
- How do I book a session?
- Book your session in the calendar below by selecting your preferred date and time.
- When will I receive my headshots?
- Expect to receive your images within a day of the session.
- What is your cancellation policy?
- Cancellations received with more than seven (7) days’ notice are refundable upon written request. All other cancellations received are non-refundable.
