Furry Final Moments

Creating Comforting Memories: Your Pet’s Legacy Session

When the precious time with our beloved pets nears its end, the thought of saying goodbye is incredibly difficult. Honor the profound love you share and create lasting memories of your cherished furry family member with an end-of-life pet photography session.

I am honored to have the opportunity to create beautiful images of your best friend that you will enjoy long after they’re gone. Having been in your position, I have the utmost sympathy for what you’re facing. Please know that you won’t be alone during this process.

What to Expect

My goal is to make this experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible for both you and your pet. We’ll work together to capture their unique spirit and the special bond you share. These beautiful portraits will be a cherished reminder of the love you have for your pet, and a lasting testament to your time together.

As to the process itself, we will meet three times:

The Session

Capturing this significant time can be a way to honor your love for your companion and find a moment of peace during a difficult time. There is absolutely no pressure; I simply want to offer you the opportunity to create these lasting memories.

A white dog is in the process of sitting on a white paper backdrop. A woman in a purple tee-shirt sits on the floor facing the dog. She holds a camera up to her eye with one hand and the other is raised just above the dog. There is a large flash modifier above and behind her head.

During the session, we’ll focus on what means the most to you about them. Whether it’s their playful spirit, their gentle cuddles, or simply their presence, we’ll aim to capture those unique qualities in stunning detail.

Selecting Your Images

Once the session is complete, I’ll carefully curate and edit your images to perfection. Within two weeks after the session, you’ll receive an invitation to an ordering appointment. I understand this could be hard, and you may have lots of feelings about this, especially if your critter has already left us. Please know you can be as emotional as you need to be. I’m here to support you and help you select the images that mean the most to you, with or without tears. Viewing these images together is a really special part of the process where we can choose the keepsakes that best capture their wonderful personality.

Seeing their images may bring tears, but they will also bring smiles as you remember the joy your pet has brought you over time. You will never regret having these tangible memories; they become even more cherished over time.

Artwork Pickup or Delivery

Your beautiful artwork will be a lasting tribute to your beloved companion. I’m always excited for my clients to see the finished product that all our work has led to – a treasured keepsake that will bring you comfort and smiles for years to come.

If they have already left us, receiving their artwork could be an emotional visit. Please know I’m here for you, and it’s okay if there are tears and big emotions. You can have all the feelings without judgement. You won’t be the first or the last, and I have tissues on hand for a reason (and I’m a wonderful hugger!).

Investment

The session fee is $400. At your private Ordering Appointment, this $400 session fee becomes a credit toward any wall art purchase. You also have the special option to order a complimentary printed image for their urn; if you don’t know the size needed yet, that’s okay—we can place that order when the time comes, even years down the road.

Additional Information

Making decisions during this time can be difficult, and things can come up unexpectedly. I offer easy rescheduling options for all appointments. I’ll also send you a reminder by email a couple of days prior to each appointment. Please don’t hesitate to reach out at any time if you have any questions or would like to explore options. I’m here for you, and sending you all the hugs.
