About the Photographer

I’m not just a girl with a camera who loves animals…

I mean, I am, let’s be real. But I’ve also poured a whole lot of myself into building a studio and a process in which you and your pet can be comfortable. You’ll both be a little spoiled by the time we’re all done. From playful puppies to majestic felines, I absolutely LOVE capturing timeless portraits of animals and want you to have physical artwork that will keep you smiling for years to come.

My Promise

I am dedicated to celebrating pets with authenticity, respect, joy, and high-quality artwork. I am committed to providing a safe space where every animal and every human is treated with dignity. I aim to capture the true spirit of your beloved animals for a lifetime of display, while actively supporting the OKC rescue community by giving adoptable animals the visibility they need to find their forever homes.

But what about the photographer?

  • That lady that talks to your pet before she talks to you? Yeah, that’s me.
  • I love animals so much I volunteered at the OKC Zoo as a Junior Curator for over three years in my teens!
  • Over 550 dogs, over 300 cats, and a whopping ten non-standard pets have been in front of my lens with a 99.99% success rate. You will be hard pressed to find a more experienced pet photographer in Oklahoma.
  • I am a sympathy cryer and a hugger. Consider yourself warned.
  • All my photography education time and money goes into PET photography specifically. As a result, you will rarely see humans in my portraits.
  • I try hard to keep up with my fitness. I mean… have you SEEN what kind of contortions pet photographers sometimes have to get into?
  • I love supporting local businesses!

My Clients

  • Treat their pets and themselves to the very best.
  • Obsess about their pets and treat them like family. Because they are!
  • Make their plans around their pet’s feeding and potty schedule.
  • Prefer someone else do the work for them rather than DIY.
  • Prefer to communicate by email than phone.
  • Take their pets with them to many places they go.
  • Want timeless keepsakes to celebrate their best friend.

My Menagerie

I don’t just advocate for rescue—I live it. Meet the motley crew that makes my house a home (and often serves as my test models). Pets are a vital and valued part of our family. Not pictured here are two fish tanks.

Goldie came off the streets of northeast Oklahoma City. After a year in decline, followed by an aggressive tumor, she recently left us and we are heartbroken.
Black dog with tan markings sitting on a blue lounger in front of a dark purple backdrop. Head is tilted to the left and wearing a purple collar and tag.
Bonnie is a foster-adopt from Oklahoma City Animal Welfare. She trained to be my studio practice model and does a fabulous job! Happy to work… as long as there are treats!

Marlee is fifteen years old and came from Oklahoma City Animal Welfare. She is bi-polar and likes men.
Brown dog with a black snout, one ear raised, and one flopped, is laying on a cream colored background.
Edward came from the backyard of a vacant home in central OKC, and he wants nothing more than to put his head in your lap. Nevermind that you are standing up and have no lap!
Our latest addition: now fifteen years old, Earl was a senior adoption from All Paws Rescue. He is a quirky boy with bad hips, and he absolutely loves physical affection. And snacks.
