Incredible! See what past clients have said

A brown dog and a black and white cat lay together on a blue floor with a deep blue background.

She really is the BEST!!

I took my 18-year old kitty and 12-year old dog to get some “end of life” photos since I knew it probably wouldn’t be long. She made us feel immediately comfortable, wasn’t too serious, was patient and kind with my pets. She took way more than I ever thought she would, and we ended up with some truly unforgettable images!! The ordering process was low-pressure and easy, and everything came in quickly. – Andrea Hurst

A white dog is laying on a deep purple velvet, against a lighter purple backdrop. The dog has her head turned to the left and her tongue is out and up, almost covering her pink nose.

Her communication is excellent.

Having had the pleasure of bringing several furry subjects to have their pictures taken with Kathy, I can definitively recommend her as a pet photographer for anyone’s furry family member! Kathy is kind and patient with the animals, especially those that are unsure of the situation in the beginning. She is ready with tasty snacks to lure and reward them and a plethora of tricks to get the perfect shot while continuing to make sure they’re comfortable. – Stephanie Scheiern

A tri-colored cattle dog is shown lying down, facing the viewer, on a black fluffy blanket against a deep grey background. The dog is smiling and looking just to the viewers left.

This was an amazing experience.

I want sure what to expect when starting the process but it was so great. From the very beginning we felt comfortable, welcomed and loved. Kathy is amazing at what she does and you can tell she has a huge animal loving soul. My boy could tell instantly as well. I will cherish the memories of the visits we had and the final product makes me smile and cry all at the same time. – Kris Spear

A German Shepherd dog sits on a white fluffy carpet, turned toward the viewer's left. She is wearing an OKC Thunder scarf.

We appreciate you so much❤!!

Kathy is very welcoming, friendly, fun and cordial. The whole facility is really clean and the photography service is so professional and very attention to detail. – Sherri Duenas

A black, orange, and cream mottled sand boa is curled around a knotted piece of wood, and shown on a cream background.

She was so friendly and very adaptive to my pet’s needs.

She actually did my sand boa snake’s portrait and was phenomenal in helping to not only get great photos but to also make sure my scaly friend wasn’t overly stressed. – Kat Jay

A dark German Shepherd stands with tongue hanging out of his mouth on a light brown rug against a darker brown background.

10/10 and 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Would definitely book again!

AMAZING! I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience. Scheduling is super easy which was great for me. The patience this woman has when working is unmatched! My dog is special needs with physical and neurological issues so he can be tough to work with. He has the attention span of a gnat and moves constantly. Even with that hurdle, we had some absolutely stunning photos. I never thought we could have such great pictures of our dog! – Skylar Shilt

Giving Back

Some of my photography time is spent with Oklahoma City Animal Welfare, and local foster-based rescues including All Paws Rescue, Misfits Mutts & Meows, and Oklahoma Humane Society, creating portraits of animals eligible for adoption. It is very rewarding to have a direct impact on their adoption!

If you manage or coordinate an animal rescue organization in the Oklahoma City area and are interested in working with OKKat Photography to create photographs of animals eligible for adoption, or to explore fundraising opportunities, reach out to kathy@okkatphoto.com. I would be happy to discuss your specific needs and goals and to see how OKKat Photography can support your organization’s efforts to find loving homes for your animals in need. Professional pet portrait photography can be a powerful tool for animal rescue organizations, as it can help to showcase the unique personalities and characteristics of the animals available for adoption and to help them stand out to potential adopters.
